Grassroots Grants Update:

The final deadline for applications to the Community Foundation for Surrey's Grassroots Grants programme is 31st December 2010.

All Grassroots Grants awarded must be fully spent by community groups before the end of March 2011.  It is therefore strongly recommended that groups which are thinking of applying for a Grassroots Grant should aim to try and complete an application as soon as possible. This will maximise the number of months in which groups are able to use the funding.

The timetable for Grassroots Grants applications in the final months of the programme is as follows:

However groups are urged to first make contact with the Community Foundation in Surrey's  Grants Officer, Emma Wolfe, in order to make sure of their eligibility prior to applying, and to obtain some useful advice before making an application.
