Would you like to be a Home Visitor with Home-Start Runnymede?
Category: Volunteering Opportunities
Home-Start Runnymede supports families and the scheme would like you to get in touch. Their volunteers are all ages and from all walks of life. All that they ask is that you have experience of bringing up children and can spare 2 -3 hours a week. You could be spending time with a young parent helping to build their confidence as they adapt to life with a small baby, or sharing an outing with a family who finds it difficult to get out of the house, or helping a mother who may be suffering from post natal depression, but there is no housework involved or expected. You must have parenting experience, be flexible, caring, a good listener, non judgemental and prepared to make regular visits. Home-Start Runnymede run training courses for new Home Visitors. If this is something that you feel you could be interested in, please contact the RAVS office on 01932 571122 for further details.
