Surrey Witness Support is based opposite the Spelthorne Civic Offices, at Knowle Green, Staines. 

This charity are currently recruiting volunteers for the next training course starting at the beginning of March.  There are likely to be opportunities in Staines, Woking and Guildford courts.  Volunteers provide advice and information and the opportunity for the witness to tour the court before the trial.  Volunteers would need to demonstrate a caring and supporting nature, be able to listen and communicate with a wide range of people.

This volunteering opportunity requires volunteers to commit to a minimum of one day per fortnight, and they have to be willing to work within a framework of equal opportunities and confidentiality.
