You don't have to be a charity to apply .. whether you're applying as an individual, an informal group, a company, a public body OR a charity; if you're passionate about social change then there's a category for you. 

The application - nominate yourself (or your own organisation) - a simple process which can be completed in less than 30 minutes.

Or it's simple to recommend others.  Send their contact details to the DSC and tell them why you are nominating them (200 words) and the DSC will chase the application.

The DSC will produce a shortlist, three from each category, and there will be an online public vote to help pick the winners.
