The IMPACT Awards from GlaxoSmithKline recognise and reward charities that are doing excellent work to improve people's health.

Up to eight winners receive £25,000, with up to seven commended/runner up awards. It is open to registered charities that are at least three years old, working in a health-related field in the UK, with a total annual income between £10,000 and £1.5 million. This year, shortlisted entrants for 2000 to 2009 can also apply as IMPACT Champions.
