You can contribute to your community by doing loads of activities including:
- Visiting people
- Helping a sports group or club
- Caring for animals
- Leading a group or being a member of a committee
- Giving information or advice
- Raising money or taking part in a sponsored event

If you've just completed your A levels or have just left university and are wondering what to do next, why not consider taking a year out with CSV (Community Service Volunteers)? CSV places hundreds of volunteers in 'gap year' opportunities every year. Placements last for between 4-12 months and projects are located across the UK.
