The Office of the Third Sector has announced that in response to the Commission on the Future of Volunteering report, “Manifesto for Change”, the Government will be providing £6m of new funding to develop opportunities for volunteering.

This will include £4 million of funding for new training programmes for volunteers and volunteer managers as well as £2 million to create a new access to volunteering fund for disabled people.
