RAVS is seeking a new Chief Officer to lead our organisation

'Do you have the experience and skills to lead a well established Voluntary Service organisation in these challenging times? RAVS are seeking an enthusiastic person of integrity with a good knowledge of voluntary sector infrastructure, including an integrated volunteer centre operation. The successful applicant will have a proven track record of managing small teams, excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, be able to function at all levels of management and be able to demonstrate a strong commitment to supporting and developing our local community' The main aims of the role will be to: • Develop and strengthen the RAVS team and further develop the services provided • Increase the awareness of RAVS in the community • Respond to identified community needs using existing, or developing new voluntary groups • Represent the sector at senior management level with local strategic partners from County, Borough, Health, Police and Environment • Maintain, and build upon, relationships with corporate partners Salary of £32,475 p.a. pro rata 28 hours per week plus 5% pension.
