Position: Youth Volunteer Adviser - Surrey Vinvolved, Guildford

Salary: Up to £22,000 p.a  for a 40 hour week

Surrey vinvolved, part of the National Youth Volunteering Programme, is currently looking for an individual to help enhance the youth volunteering infrastructure in the Guildford and Waverley area of Surrey by co-ordinating the provision of high quality advice and guidance for potential young volunteers, aged 16-25 years and championing youth-led volunteering initiatives through Youth Action Teams.

Surrey vinvolved is managed by Reigate and Redhill YMCA and the successful candidate will work as part of a team of eight professionals based in Redhill, Woking and Guildford

Candidates must have previous experience working with young people and excellent communication skills. Recognised youth and community work qualifications would be an asset.
Duties will include placing young people into volunteering positions and providing advice and guidance to volunteers.
