Surrey Safeguarding Children - Free Sessions on Policies and Procedures

Surrey Safeguarding Children Board and Surrey Community Action invite you to a free session on what policies and procedures organisations need to have in place when they are involved in work with children. Participants will also be given the opportunity to receive the free NSPCC Safe Communities Toolkit. There will be the opportunity to pose a question in advance of the session to ensure that you can have an answer on the day.

• Be more aware of your responsibilities with regard to safeguarding children
• Be able to identify what measures need to be taken to address any gaps
• Be aware of what organisations exist in Surrey that can support you in safeguarding children

This course is FREE to organisations

6th November 2008 - Kestrals Childrens Centre, Caterham - 10am - 1pm
25th November 2008 - Woodhatch Centre, Reigate - 10am - 1pm
10th December 2008 - Heatherside Community Centre, Camberley - 4pm - 7pm
13th January 2009 - Business Link, Woking 10am - 1pm
10th February 2009 - Ebbisham Centre, Epsom - 10am - 1pm
3rd March 2009 - Spelthorne Borough Council Offices, Knowle Green, Staines 10am -1 pm
